A new month begins, already it is February and I'm still in West P=
ark hospital. Complications continue and today I have been moved to my own =
private room having been diagnsed with MRSA. This private room contains all=
the facilities including my own television but most people seem to agree t=
hat I would be better off at home.

After a series of disasters things are tending to normal and I must pa=
y tribute to those looking after me. The nursing staff is quite mixed but t=
ends to follow the pattern of the diverse ethnic communities that is Wolver=
hampton. Black and white mingle and certainly I've never seen any racis=
t behaviour. Work in a stroke unit demands great sympathy and training, mos=
t are very interested when I mention that I write a blog and most have beco=
me my friends. That is not to say that everything is fine at West Park, esp=
ecially if you are woken very early in the morning and subjected to the ind=
ignaties of personal investiation. Those who treat stroke patients do so fr=
om a love of nursing and I have a long list of nurses who are paricularly k=
ind to me. Things have been helped in the last few days by my not being dis=
turbed until breakfast time which is about 8.30am and then I have a plate o=
f porridge.

But enough of these frivolities, Bush, Blair and Brown remain at large=
despite waging illegal wars and I regret that I am not able to pursue thes=
e scoundrels as I would wish. But if as I hope I am able to return home soo=
n, a bed, hoist and special mattress are on order for me and a wheel chair =
acces needs to be installed before that can happen. I shall resume my pursu=
it of these criminals.
