GEORGE BARNSBY BLOG NO.2010 TUESDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER 2009 INCORPORATING COPAM (COMMITTEE OF PEACE AND MULTICULTURALISM) barnsby@blueyonder.co.uk

TODAY I WEEP FOR MY OWN DEAR COUNTRY
Every night for at least the past two years I have sent a BLOG
throughout the world demanding the immediate arrest of Gordon Brown as a
Torturer and Nuclear Maniac. This is a view held by the majority of people
in the world and yet Brown still walks free oblivious of the fact that the
world could disappear in the second that I write this sentence and that
would be the end of mankind’s incredible march from sub-human creature to
human
creature and through to the civilisation of which we should all be proud .
My BLOG goes to the Antipodes where people who once lived in Britain
have
emigrated to Australia and New Zealand and particularly from the Black
Country
read my BLOG to know what is happening in this part of the world.
My BLOG goes to Fidel Castro and all the countries of South America now
building modern
Socialist Societies based on a Bolivarian model and especially Hugo Chavez,
Evo Mores and the working class rulers of Brazil, Argentina and Ecuador.
The BLOG reaches the battle fields of Iraq, Afghanistan, Gaza, and
Palestine. It
also reaches the great US newspapers such as the New York Times, Chicago
Tribune, Los Angeles Times etc hoping that their tradition of investigative
journalism might induce them to condemn Brown for the origins of terrorism
in the USA dated back to the Neo-cons of the New American Century and the
two Bushes. Not to mention Tony Blair and there is also the question of
Barak Obama being unable to fulfil his promises of fundamental change
without the assistance of US and world opinion so we weep also for the USA
today.
Also there are Institutions that should have had Brown put away years
ago. These include Equality and Human Rights, The United Nations
Organisations and organisations both in the British Parliament under its new
speaker John Bercow who would be prepared to sanction action to dismiss
Brown, and similar organisation in the US Parliament who should have had
Brown put away.
Then there are journalists on the so-called liberal papers such as the
Guardian and Independent many of whom have spent years of conscientious and
principled service to the cause of getting Brown locked up. Here I will only
mention the following who receive my BLOG every night., Polly Toynbee, Steve
Bell the cartoonist, George Monbiot who once tried to make a citizen’s
arrest of Tony Blair as me and Lance Dunkley in Wolverhampton tried to make
a citizens’ arrest of our MP, Rob Marris, who supported the war in Iraq;
also Gary Younge and Hugh Muir, both with George Monbiot black journalists
and Nils Pratley a decorated economics expert together with Larry Elliott
the paper’s Economics Editor who is one of the few who answers me and who is
well versed in both Keynesian and Marxist economics. Also Marcel Berlins
always sharp against Brown, Geoffrey Wheatcroft, Charlie Brooker and the
entertainer, Russell Brand. All these people receive my BLOG and are
opposed to Brown, but even if they talk to each other they do not talk to
me.
It is not only that none of these institutions have been unable to
effect the arrest of the Torturers and Nuclear Maniacs
but that they haven’t realised the political possibilities. It all begins in
Wolverhampton on the May elections of 2008 when a Labour control led council
was turned into a hung council with the Tories having one more seat than
Labour but a hung council with five Lib-Dems holding the balance of power.
From that time it became possible to form a coalition of Tories who opposed
the war in Iraq, Labour councillors who opposed the war and Lib-Dems who had
never supported the war. If this had happened it would have put the
strongest pressure on Brown to change his policy.
But this was not all. If Brown stopped the war in Iraq such vast sums of
money would be available that the Economic Depression would disappear
overnight and there would be enough left over to fund our social services
properly. A perfectly reasonable proposal one would have thought to warrant
a reply. But not only have none of them replied to me, but Tories and Labour
now quarrel with each other as to who can cut the most from our social
services. This is a betrayal of the people of Wolverhampton and Britain who
are both opposed to the war and convinced that correspondence addressed to a
councillor should be replied to.
The Communist Party of Britain is on the right track when at its recent
central committee meeting it suggested that a national front of
organisations should be built. This is true, but members must first talk to
one another through their Blogs. The problem today is not a lack of
activists who show incredible originality and initiatives but how to make it
effective in this electronic age.
The first who must break her silence is Diane Abbott. Time is of the
essence

TOMORROW WE COULD ALL BE DEAD - KILLED BY GORDON BROWN TORTURER
AND NUCLEAR MANIAC.
